The Analog Field Applications Engineer (AFAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The AFAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/opportunities. In this role, the AFAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with sales to grow TI's analog revenue with a targeted customer
- Work with the sales team to prioritize and target key and emerging accounts for TI growth opportunities
- Provide applications support to customers designing in TI products in their electronic designs
- Find new projects at assigned customers, find every socket within those projects, and convert those opportunities to win
- Engage with SEM and BU teams to ensure we influence roadmaps to align with assigned customer's opportunities, and plug them into our customers as needed
- Help facilitate executive discussions as needed to grow relationships at all levels with assigned customers

QualificationsMinimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering or related field of study
- 1 year of experience in Analog disciplines applicable to our customer's end equipment spaces such as sensors, signal conditioning, data acquisition, power design, clocking and timing, or data communications
- Experience with design, analysis, and debug of related circuits or sub-systems
- Ability to run simulations, and create/ review schematics and board layout
- Ability to help customers debug board level issues
