Job Description

Diplomatik is currently looking for a reliable, motivated and experienced Concrete Agitator Driver for our client in the Canning area.

This role offers a diverse set of responsibilities, including loading, transporting, and delivering our concrete products to various sites within the council district.

As a Concrete Agitator Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of pre-mixed concrete to sites. Your daily duties will include performing pre-operational checks on the concrete agitator vehicle, ensuring the efficient discharge of concrete at the site, and maintaining cleanliness standards for the interior and exterior of the truck.

The role:

Casual, ongoing work with possible temp to perm option for the right candidate. Hours of work are from Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Friday (rotating) from 6:30 am - 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily pre-operational checks on the concrete agitator vehicle.
  • Transport pre-mixed concrete to customer sites, ensuring efficient product discharge.
  • Safely operate the vehicle in accordance with road regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Complete necessary paperwork related to material collection and delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards for the interior and exterior of the truck, especially at the end of the day.

Requirements:

  • A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Automatic Driver's License is essential.
  • Forklift License for loading and unloading duties.
  • Experience with operating a concrete agitator is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
  • Hold a White Card
  • National Police clearance (6 months)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment fit for work test and Drug and Alcohol screen
  • Hold valid Australian working rights
