The Human Resources Manager plays a strategic and handsâon role in supporting the full HR function. This position partners closely with HR leadership to develop and improve HR policies, programs, and initiatives, while ensuring compliance and delivering an exceptional employee experience. The role oversees HR Specialists, manages HRIS operations, drives data integrity, and supports all stages of the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop HR Associates.
- Oversee preâemployment screening, onboarding, benefits workflows, and terminations.
- Prepare performance evaluations and participate in merit and bonus discussions.
Benefits Administration
- Support and monitor Associate benefit programs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment, compliance reporting, and FSA testing.
- Collaborate with management and vendors to enhance benefit offerings.
HR Operations & Communication
- Ensure smooth processes for recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
- Manage employee communication materials, including benefits notices and total compensation statements.
- Support performance appraisal programs and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Maintain compliance by updating policies and preparing audit and regulatory documentation.
HRIS Administration & Reporting
- Serve as the primary HRIS expert for configuration, troubleshooting, and permissions.
- Perform complex data actions, system audits, and maintain 100% data accuracy.
- Deliver monthly HR metrics and create adâhoc reports for leadership.
- Lead HRISârelated projects in partnership with HR leadership.
Employee & Associate Relations
- Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers, offering guidance and conflict resolution.
- Lead investigations into moderate-to-complex employee relations issues.
- Support the RGS division with orientation, policy guidance, and training.
- Recommend and approve disciplinary actions while ensuring legal compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in HRIS platforms and analytics; able to manipulate and interpret workforce data.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problemâsolving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred: PHR or SPHR certification.
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field OR 8 years of HR/business experience including HR systems and benefits.
- 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
This position offers an annual salary of $125,000 to $145,000 depending on experience, including annual bonus potential and benefits!
