Manager, Perioperative Services

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Perioperative Services Nurse Manager at a 300+ bed facility in Southern California. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee the frontline nurses and act as the conduit between the caregivers and leadership teams.
• Communicate the organization’s goals to the nursing staff to constantly seek to improve patient experiences
• Share your knowledge with others and improve their understanding of a patient’s needs, the needs of the nursing staff, or the needs of the organization
• Ensure TJC survey readiness

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years of recent perioperative services management experience; Strong communication, diplomacy and persuasiveness, analytical ability, strong judgment and managerial skills
• License: California RN license required
• Certifications: AHA BLS required
• Computer Skills: Information systems experience (Cerner/EPIC) and Microsoft Office suite
