Principal Duties, Expectations, and Responsibilities
The primary function of the Physician Assistant (PA) is to practice medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician. PAs are trained to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services, often in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. As part of the onboarding process, the candidate's cognitive and physical abilities will be assessed by the Supervising Physician to ensure the capability to meet the demands of the role effectively. The Physician Assistant will report to the Supervising Physician and will provide comprehensive primary care from pediatrics to geriatrics, in a busy community clinic setting in accordance with protocols, policies and procedures set in place. Attends clinician meetings, monthly team meetings and project meetings, as requested.
