Retail Regional Manager (West Coast)

Job Summary:? As part of our retail team, the West Coast Regional Manager is responsible for developing extraordinary Store Managers, creating great customer experience and impacting growth across Longchamp Boutiques through outstanding service. The ideal candidate is committed to client service, demonstrating a strong understanding and passion for luxury goods and fashion. You will oversee retail store operations of a given district/region to maximize sales and profitability, define strategies to drive retail store sales, manage leaders in the day-to-day performance of their jobs and develop diverse teams that know their markets, communities and customers.?Must be comfortable travelling approximately 70% of the time on the West Coast. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Lead management initiatives across the region including new store openings, remodels, closures, systems implementations, and organizational changes. 
• Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry. Understand forthcoming customer initiatives and monitor what local competitors are doing; initiate changes to improve the business when needed.? 
• Drive consistent execution of brand standards, luxury service rituals, and visual guidelines across all locations, ensuring brand integrity and excellence at every customer touchpoint. 
• Manage the daily retail operations. Plan and implement all Retail activities to maximize sales. 
• Achieve the company targets in areas of net sales, budget, cost, stock and personnel. 
• Proactively identify underperforming locations and develop targeted action plans to improve sales performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency. 
• Responsible for sales, business planning, product presentation, VM, stock control, sales service, POS operations, POS promotions/marketing, operational marketing, POS upkeep and team motivation. 
• Development of individual and POS retail skills base, which includes understanding of POS system, reporting. 
• Ensure all teams have clear measurable goals & objectives (KPIs). 
• Monitor store schedules and ensure they are made in line with business needs 
• Ensure weekly reports are duly completed by stores. In addition, for concessions specifically, monitor reconciliation report to track performance. 
• Ensure Clienteling (CRM) becomes a key focus in each store, driving client opt-in, clienteling conversion and customer retention. 
• Ensure all training is documented, time lined and followed up. 
• Promote Train the Trainer culture within area. 
• Action yearly Manager performance reviews. 
• Interview, hire, and train new employees in collaboration with HR, VP/Managing Director of Retail and Retail Trainer. 
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, labor laws, safety standards, and loss prevention practices across the region. 
• Partner with HR to address employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, corrective action, and retention strategies. 
• Complete new hire paperwork, orientation, and collaborate with HR. 
• Ensure adherence to company E-Training programs. 
• Compile competitor information upon request. 
• Implementation of travel plan in liaison with VP/Managing Director of Retail. 
• Ad hoc duties defined by the VP/Managing Director of Retail.  

Minimum Requirements:? 

• BA degree in business or a related degree or equivalent work experience & education. 
• 5+ years of luxury retail experience managing multi-site stores, departments or units, P&L, inventory, operations and customer service. 
• 5+ years of management experience leading at least a team of 6 or more, including training and coaching, with strong leadership and communication skills. 
• 3+ years of experience in a customer service-oriented role desired. 
• Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail or hospitality industry operations and financial reporting. 
• Experience partnering with department store concessions and/or multi-channel retail formats preferred. 
• Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. 
• Proven experience managing store openings, remodels, and/or expansions within a luxury or premium retail environment. 
• Ability to work full-time (the work regularly demands in excess of 40 hours per week) including variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays. 
• Experienced in coaching, employee engagement, leadership and soft skills training. 
• Ability to influence and lead senior store leaders through change, ambiguity, and growth. 
• Proficiency in retail reporting tools, KPI dashboards, and CRM/clienteling platforms.

• Extensive knowledge of retail and the operational processes. 
• Capable of resolving escalated issues and the ability to collaborate when necessary. 
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, store teams, and external partners. 
• Flexibility to travel extensively and adapt to changing business needs across the West Coast region. (Arizona, California, Oregon, Nevada, Washington & Hawaii) 

Physical Demands & Working Conditions: 

• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.? 
• Travel is required approximately 70% of the time.
