About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst on a multi-year CRM transformation initiative. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and administrators to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business value, improve user experience, and optimize processes across the organization. This role requires someone with deep Salesforce knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions.
Lead workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand business processes and pain points.
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Analyse current workflows to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in Salesforce.
Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators and Developers to design scalable, maintainable solutions, leveraging native Salesforce functionality whenever possible.
Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and wireframes to visualize proposed solutions.
Assist with basic configuration tasks (reports, dashboards, page layouts) to prototype solutions.
Maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value and ROI.
Document as-is and to-be processes to preserve institutional knowledge.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives).
Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure timelines are met.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test script creation and bug triaging.
Develop training materials and release notes for end-users.
Monitor user adoption rates and propose strategies to increase engagement with the platform.
Essential:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Salesforce projects.
Strong understanding of Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) capabilities and limitations.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business Analyst, or related).
Experience with specialized Salesforce Clouds (CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Field Service Lightning).
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Copado, or similar project management tools.
