Solutions Engineer (Hybrid)

• Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 annually (commensurate with experience) + Benefit package, including health, vision, dental, 401K, and PTO

【Position Summary】

IT Consulting company is seeking a client-facing Solutions Engineer with a hands-on development background to support solution design, pre-sales activities, and project delivery. 

This role is focused on solution design and client engagement, supported by real-world implementation experience. 

This position is exclusively for current or former developers. Candidates without hands-on development experience will not be considered.

【Key Responsibilities】

1. Client Engagement

• Understand client business requirements and challenges
• Propose practical solutions
• Prepare proposals, demos, and effort estimations

2. Solution Design

• Lead requirement gathering and business analysis
• Design scalable and implementable system architectures
• Translate business needs into technical solutions

3. Delivery Support

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful delivery
• Review technical designs and validate feasibility
• Support UAT and go-live processes

4. Technical Involvement

• Validate solutions based on hands-on development experience
• Support prototyping, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making

【Technical Scope】

• Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Power Platform, Azure)
• SQL / Database (MSSQL preferred)

【Required Qualifications】

• Mandatory: 1–3+ years of hands-on scratch development experience
• Experience across system development lifecycle (design development testing deployment)
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

【Preferred Qualifications】

• Experience in client-facing roles
• Experience preparing proposals and estimates
• Python or .NET development experience
