The Role

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects
• Deliver small-group interventions and provide 1:1 support where required
• Work closely with class teachers to adapt learning materials
• Assist students with SEND or additional learning needs
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Contribute to whole-school literacy and numeracy initiatives

Working collaboratively within the department, the Teaching Assistant will play a key role in ensuring all learners are supported and challenged appropriately.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
• A relevant qualification or degree (desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to motivate and support learners of all abilities
• A proactive, patient, and team-focused approach
