But now we need help on the call side, too. Can you please search for an Ob/Gyn who can do clinic and call for at least 3 months, with the possibility of extending? We d also consider locums to perm. It s for Fountain Valley Health & Wellness which is on the OCMC campus, with deliveries at OCMC. (The locums would have to obtain privileges for Orange Coast Medical Center in addition to MCMG credentialing, so March might be a stretch even for temp privileges.)It s important to know that our MCMG midwives are on first call. So the Ob/Gyns only get called in if it s a high-risk delivery or c-section. The hospital also contracts with a laborist group who can fill in while the on-call Ob/Gyn is en route to the hospital.
