JOB DESCRIPTION – Audio-Visual Project Manager


Description:

The Audio-Visual Project Manager oversees and coordinates audiovisual projects from

inception to completion. The AV Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing,

and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves

managing resources, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective

communication and project delivery. This position should show proven experience in AV project

management, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of AV technologies and

systems.

Requirements & Skills:

1. At least 3 years of experience as Project Manager

2. Bachelor’s Degree

3. With Related AV Certifications

4. Willing to be trained

5. Willingness and patience to complete online classes or other classes assigned

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical

concepts into non-technical terms.

7. Customer-focused attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality service.

8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Knowledge:

1. Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation,

human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination

of people and resources.

2. Computer hardware and software, including applications and programming

3. Contractual obligations

4. Commodity codes, vendors, contracts, etc.

5. Audio visual systems and products.

6. Complex audio-visual systems suited to different locations.

7. Providing hands-on input to the design and estimation process.



Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with internal teams and external (clients) to ensure all project components

are delivered on schedule.

2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget

3. Prepare the Project Management submittals such as RFIs, Change Orders, Schedule of

Values, and Project Installation Schedule.

4. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and

ensuring technical feasibility

5. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Coordinate administrative tasks, inventory

resources, and send staff deadline reminders.

6. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

7. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule

and costs

8. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

9. Report and escalate to management as needed

10. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

11. Perform risk management to minimize project risks

12. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

13. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

14. Manage and supervise different tasks in the quest of completing a project

15. Make arrangement for the project completion based on specifications of the project

owner

16. Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather necessary information for project

execution.

17. Procure necessary equipment, materials, and resources for each project if necessary at

the moment.

18. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning phases of AV systems.

19. Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.

20. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders (client, manufacturer, ...) to provide updates

and gather feedback.

21. Ensure obedience to quality standards and safety regulations. It can be different project

by project or area by area.

22. Perform other duties as assigned.
