About the Role:

The Catering & Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering operations and sales initiatives to drive business growth and ensure exceptional client satisfaction. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing client relationships, and coordinating catering services from initial inquiry through event execution. The manager will work with a team to deliver high-quality food and service experiences while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability. They will collaborate closely with culinary, marketing, and event teams to tailor offerings that meet diverse customer needs and market trends. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance the company’s reputation and revenue by delivering outstanding catering solutions and building lasting client partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering management and sales within the food service industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing client accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of catering operations, event planning, and food safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with diverse clientele including corporate, social, and large-scale events.
  • Familiarity with catering management software and CRM tools.
  • Certification in food safety or hospitality management (e.g., ServSafe, Certified Meeting Professional).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing customers within the catering segment.
  • Manage the end-to-end catering process including client consultations, menu planning, event coordination, and on-site execution.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the catering and sales team to achieve performance targets and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage  to create promotional materials and campaigns that highlight catering services and special offers.
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and analyze sales data to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless event delivery and repeat business.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations across all catering activities.
