Delivery Driver I

Lightstyles is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Local Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will safely operate a 26-foot box truck to deliver high-end lighting fixtures, accessories, poles, and related products from our Lightstyles distribution center in Riverside, CA to our showrooms in Orange and Costa Mesa, CA, as well as to customer homes and job sites throughout Southern California.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for local deliveries throughout Southern California, typically within a 100-mile radius.
• Load, secure, balance, transport, unload, and unpack high-end lighting fixtures and accessories in a safe and damage-free manner.
• Deliver products to Lightstyles showrooms, customer homes, and job sites while representing Lightstyles professionally and courteously.
• Review delivery paperwork, manifests, and product details to verify accuracy, quality, and quantity.
• Report product damage, shortages, overages, delivery concerns, or vehicle issues to management.
• Plan routes, meet delivery schedules, and maintain required driving logs in compliance with applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and help keep the company vehicle clean, secure, and properly maintained.
• Occasionally assist in the warehouse with receiving, inventorying, organizing, picking, stocking, loading, and unloading products.
• Work cooperatively with warehouse, showroom, delivery, and management teams to support a smooth customer experience.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; no CDL required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT physical and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience safely operating a 26-foot box truck preferred.
• Warehouse, delivery, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Experience reading bills of lading, manifests, or other delivery paperwork preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems, RF scanners, GeoTab, or similar trip management tools is a plus.
• Strong dependability, attention to detail, and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force.
