Front of House Managers are responsible not only for serving guests, but for leading people, driving hospitality standards, and ensuring consistent execution across the front of house.

Front of House Manager Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead FOH shifts with confidence, presence, and encouraging urgency
- Coach, train, and develop FOH Team Members and Shift Assistants
- Set clear expectations and model professionalism, hospitality, and Chick-fil-A culture
- Hold team members accountable to service, speed, accuracy, and cleanliness standards
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development across FOH positions
Guest Experience & Execution
- Ensure every guest receives remarkable Chick-fil-A service
- Model and coach hospitality behaviors (smiling, eye contact, tone, engagement)
- Actively manage guest flow, line management, order accuracy, and speed of service
- Monitor mobile, drive-thru, curbside, and counter execution
- Actively resolve guest concerns with empathy and professionalism
Operational Excellence
- Maintain strong communication with BOH and leadership partners
- Ensure FOH is staffed, positioned, and adjusted appropriately throughout the shift
- Drive Fast Service, order accuracy, and hospitality metrics
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and brand standards at all times
Administrative & Accountability
- Complete opening, closing, and shift leadership responsibilities
- Participate in leadership meetings, planning, and performance discussions
- Model reliability, ownership, consistency, and sound judgment under pressure
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Strong preference for candidates with prior Chick-fil-A experience
- Applicants with Chick-fil-A experience must be able to provide a referral or reference from their previous Operator or senior leadership
- Candidates without Chick-fil-A experience will still be considered, but must have:
- At least three verified professional references
- Demonstrated experience in hospitality leadership, guest service, and people management
- A proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, service-driven environments
