Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting for apartment rental properties
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner using AppFolio
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cared for
- Communicate effectively with property management and residents regarding maintenance needs and progress
- Travel between properties as needed to perform maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Fluent in Spanish
- Valid, unrestricted, and unexpired California driver's license
- Possess a complete set of maintenance tools required for basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs
- Experience performing general maintenance and repair work is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
