Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

**Title** Main OR RN – Operating Room **Schedule** - Shifts available: 0600-1500, 1030-1900, 1430-2300, 0600-1900, 1030-2300 - On-call required: Yes **Assignment Details** - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period **Requirements** - California RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted) - BLS/BCLS certification - 2 years of RN OR experience required - ORTHO/JOINT experience required (total joints – knees/hips, Hana table) - Travel experience required - Epic charting experience preferred - LA Fire Card required within last 30 days (candidate responsibility) **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting for various surgical specialties, particularly orthopedic procedures. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective perioperative care. - Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, including equipment setup. - Adhere to infection control and safety protocols during surgical procedures. - Monitor patient status during surgical procedures and respond to changes as needed. **Compliance / Notes** - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day). - Background/license disclosures must be included at submission (no open license hits). - RTO (requested time off) must be included at time of submission. - Pre-start training modules required (non-billable; average ~16 hours). - Travelers expected to float across facilities in the state; refusal may result in termination/forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
